Please keep out of reach of babies, children & animals. To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn within sight. Keep away from any drafts. Never burn a candle or use a wax warmer on or near anything that can catch fire.

Candles:

Place your candle on a stable, heat resistant surface. Light your candle in a well ventilated room and avoid any drafts, wind or humidity which can cause the candle to soot (black marks on the vessel), or cause rapid, erratic and uneven burning.

Upon burning your candle for the first time, make sure the melt pool has reached the edges of the vessel. This could range between 2-4 hours. Burning for less time could cause the candle to “tunnel”, also known as Candle Tunneling, which will leave a build up of wax around the sides of the candle. Wax has a ‘memory’. If you only allow a small pool of wax to melt, subsequent burns will also burn to the same diameter thus creating a tunnel in the candle.

However, we suggest after the first burn to only light your candle
for a maximum of 4 hours at one time as longer periods can cause the wicks to move, slant or soot the jar. For safety, we recommend that you leave at least 10mm of wax at the bottom of your vessel prior to disposal.

Wick Care

When your candle is lit, always keep the wax pool clean of any debris
as this can act as a secondary wick causing your candle to burn faster.
After extinguishing the flame, always centre and straighten the wick as burning for longer periods of time will deepen the melt pool and can cause the wick to slant.

Long or slanted wicks can create high flames, smoking or sooting. To
prevent this, we suggest trimming the wick to 5mm after every burn, once the wax has set. If the wicks are left untrimmed, any future burns will be less fragrant.

Wax Melts

Remove the desired amount of cubes/pebbles from the container depending on the desired scent strength. Add to your burner. Always place your burner on a fire-resistant surface that is level. Never leave your burner out of sight. Always use one 4 hour tea lights & never use your burner for more than 4 hour intervals. Always use wax burners designed for wax, not oil burners. Wax burners are taller in diameter, and sit further away from the direct flame.
